The Role
We are recruiting for a Catering / General Assistant to support a busy corporate food service environment in Southampton.
This is a short-term assignment covering staff absence, ideal for someone reliable, hands-on, and able to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Shift Pattern
Tuesday 5th May – 07:30–14:30
Wednesday 6th May – 07:30–14:30
Thursday 7th May – 07:30–14:30
Friday 8th May – 07:30–13:30
Monday 11th May – 07:30–14:30
Tuesday 12th May – 07:30–14:30
Wednesday 13th May – 07:30–14:30
Thursday 14th May – 07:30–14:30
Friday 15th May – 07:30–13:30
Key Responsibilities
Assisting with food preparation
Serving customers during breakfast and lunch service
Washing dishes and maintaining kitchen cleanliness
Cleaning down kitchen and service areas
Replenishing fridges and stock
Supporting general kitchen operations
Using till and preparing basic coffees (where required)
Requirements
Previous experience in catering or kitchen environments
Ability to work in a fast-paced setting
Good communication and teamwork skills
Reliable and punctual
Essential Compliance Requirements
Right to Work in the UK
Food Safety & Hygiene Level 2 certificate
