What skills and experience we're looking for
St Augustine’s Catholic Primary School is a happy, welcoming and caring school where children are known as individuals and nurtured to flourish. Our recent Ofsted inspection celebrated our strong sense of community, ambitious learning and the pride pupils take in their achievements, with parents describing St Augustine’s as “a wonderful school where the children are nurtured and feel part of a family.”
The trust and governors wish to appoint an enthusiastic, talented and highly motivated level 3 Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and hardworking team. The candidate should have the vision and drive to make a significant impact in school and be committed to making a difference to the lives of our children.
You will be suitably qualified to at least a full and relevant Level 3 qualification. Please submit your certificate with your application for verification purposes. Please refer to the Job Description and Person Specification enclosed.
The successful candidate will:
• Embrace and uphold the vision and ethos of our Catholic school;
• Be able to support in the delivery of high-quality learning experiences;
• Have high expectations of learning and behaviour;
• Be able to communicate sensitively with parents/carers;
• Have excellent standards of literacy, numeracy and spoken English;
• Support pupils’ learning needs;
• Have a desire to be involved in all aspects of school life.
