What skills and experience we're looking for

Our thriving, inclusive and ambitious school is seeking an enthusiastic and committed Assistant Headteacher to join our leadership team.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced middle leader or current senior leader ready to take the next step.

The post is offered on a two-year fixed‑term basis with strong potential for permanence at Mildmay Primary School, or elsewhere within Bridge Academy Trust at the end of the period.

The successful candidate will:

• Play a key role in whole school improvement
• Be a visible, impactful leader with high expectations for all pupils
• Work collaboratively within a supportive leadership team
• Maintain a teaching commitment, (initially 0.2) ensuring leadership remains closely connected to classroom practice.
• Inspire and develop future expert practitioners

We are looking for that passionate educator who is an excellent practitioner, committed to continuous improvement, and motivated by making a genuine difference for children, families and staff.

We offer a warm, supportive school community, strong professional development opportunities and a role that balances meaningful leadership responsibility with protected teaching time.

Visits to the school are warmly welcomed and encouraged.

If you are an ambitious leader who shares our values and is excited by the opportunity to help shape the future of Mildmay Primary School, we would love to hear from you.

Bridge Academy Trust may close this advert early if we receive a high volume of suitable applications.
