What skills and experience we're looking for

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Teacher of Geography to join a thriving and successful department. Geography is a popular and well-established subject at both GCSE and A Level, with a curriculum that combines academic rigour, contemporary relevance, and rich opportunities for fieldwork and enquiry.

This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious teacher to contribute to a department with a strong sense of identity and a clear commitment to high-quality teaching and learning. You will work within a collaborative team to deliver a curriculum that challenges students intellectually, develops their sense of place and global responsibility, and enables them to achieve highly.

We are looking for:

• A highly-skilled and knowledgeable teacher of Geography, capable of inspiring students across Key Stages and, ideally, at A Level;
• A reflective and committed classroom practitioner who is enthusiastic about developing pedagogy and engaging students through enquiry, fieldwork, and contemporary geographical issues;
• Someone who values collaboration and is keen to contribute to the wider life of the school, including field work, enrichment and extra-curricular opportunities.
