Evening Customer Service Advisor

Location: Harvey and Brockless, Worcester, WR5 2NT
Harvey and Brockless are producers and distributor of speciality foods, working with artisan food producers across the globe. They
have the largest collection of British farmhouse cheeses in the UK. Our site in Worcester is the main distribution and warehouse
hub for Harvey and Brockless products!
Hours: Sunday – Thursday, 17:00 – 01:30
Salary: £27,039
Purpose:
To be the first point of contact for customers, listen attentively and communicate effectively to deliver exceptional customer
service at every interaction, ensuring a faultless supply of quality goods.
Your Duties Will Include:
* Process voicemail and email orders accurately and efficiently adhering to distribution deadlines
* Monitoring and verify orders received, resolving discrepancies, and escalating issues where necessary.
* Liaise with customers regarding stock shortages, special orders, and alternative products.
* Monitoring stock availability, arranging suitable product substitutions where possible, and communicating any unavailable items
to customers
* Handling general enquiries and directing more complex queries to the appropriate department for resolution.
* Encouraging additional sales where appropriate, promoting short-dated or overstocked goods.
* Update system with any relevant information received.
* Understanding the business and obtaining knowledge of both the company and our customers.
Knowledge, Experience and Skills:
* Previous customer service experience
* Good telephone manner
* Good verbal and written communication skills
* Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Teams)
* Ability to solve problems within the area of work
* Able to multi-task and prioritise workload appropriately.
* Accurate and thorough with attention to detail
* Self-motivated, able to work on own initiative
* Understanding of a quality focused environment
