We’re looking for an enthusiastic, organised, and proactive Science Technician to join our team and play a vital role in bringing science to life. You will be working to inspire 16-18 yrs old to be the next generation of scientists.

As our Science Technician, you’ll be at the heart of practical science. You’ll ensure laboratories are fully prepared, experiments run smoothly, and equipment is safe, organised, and ready to use.

Your key responsibilities will include:Preparing materials, chemicals, and equipment for practical lessonsSetting up and clearing away experiments efficiently and safelyMaintaining laboratory equipment and organising stockEnsuring health and safety procedures are followed at all timesSupporting teachers and students during practical activitiesManaging inventory and ordering supplies when neededSupporting delivery of assessments in Faculty
Your work will directly support high-quality science teaching and hands-on learning experiences.

We’re looking for someone who is:Organised, methodical, and detail-orientedPassionate about scienceConfident handling laboratory equipment and chemicals safelyProactive and able to work independentlyA strong communicator and team playerCalm under pressure and able to manage multiple tasks
Previous experience in a laboratory or educational setting is an advantage, but enthusiasm, reliability, and a willingness to learn are just as important.
