We are looking for an experienced Chef to support a large care home in Clacton-on-Sea on a temporary basis.
You will be responsible for preparing nutritious, well-balanced meals for residents, taking into account dietary needs and preferences. You will also work alongside a Kitchen Assistant to keep the kitchen running smoothly.
Key duties:
• Preparing and cooking meals to a high standard
• Catering for special diets and allergens
• Maintaining food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness
• Supporting stock control and organisation
Requirements:
• Previous Chef experience (care home preferred)
• Experience in a busy kitchen
• Good knowledge of food hygiene and dietary needs
• Reliable and organised
