Your daily responsibilities will include, but aren’t limited to:
Delivering person‑centred care in line with individual care plans and residents’ personal preferences
Supporting with all aspects of personal care, including washing, dressing, oral care, continence support and grooming
Assisting with mobility, using appropriate equipment (hoists, stand aids, wheelchairs) and following safe moving & handling practices
Helping residents with daily living activities, such as meals, hydration, social engagement and maintaining routines
Promoting independence, encouraging residents to do as much as they safely can and supporting confidence-building
Building positive relationships with residents, families, and colleagues to create a warm, supportive environment
Monitoring residents’ wellbeing, including observing changes in physical or emotional health and reporting promptly to nurses or senior staff
Maintaining accurate, detailed care records, including electronic documentation and daily notes

Following safeguarding, health & safety and infection control guidelines to maintain a safe home environment
Working collaboratively with the wider care, clinical and housekeeping teams to ensure excellent overall care
Ensuring dignity, compassion and respect in every interaction
What We Are Looking For
We are particularly interested in candidates who have previous experience in a care environment, whether in residential care, home care or healthcare support. If you have experience supporting people with personal care, mobility, dementia, or daily living activities — we want to hear from you.
However, experience isn’t everything. If you don’t have a care background but you have:
A genuine passion for helping others
A strong desire to work in the care sector
A naturally warm, patient and empathetic approach
The motivation to learn and develop new skills
…then we will still consider your application and provide full training.
We’re looking for people who are reliable, compassionate, great team players and committed to delivering excellent care — whether you’re experienced or just starting your career in care.
