Floating Support worker
Location: Swansea
Salary: 26,300 per annum pro rata

Working Hours: 37.5 per week

Job Summary
Bawso is the lead organisation in Wales providing practical and emotional support to black minority ethnic (BME) and migrant victims of domestic abuse, sexual violence, human trafficking, Female Genital Mutilation and forced marriage.
The aim is to work within a community development framework; the worker will be responsible for working with women where domestic abuse is a significant support need and or require housing related support. To enable women to live more independent life based on real choices about their future. The role will be varied and involve working with vulnerable people in their homes or temporary accommodation to prevent homelessness and develop skills needed to maintain their tenancies, change negative behaviour, maintain their health and wellbeing, progress to independent living and make appropriate decisions for the future.
