Qualified Level 3 SENCo (Special Educational Needs Coordinator)
Starjumps Nursery, Borehamwood
Permanent part time (12-15 hours a week across 3-4 days)
Salary £26,789.88 p/a pro rata (£13.21 p/h)
Starjumps Nursery is seeking a dedicated and passionate SENCo to join our warm, nurturing early years setting. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced practitioner who is committed to supporting children with additional needs and ensuring every child reaches their full potential.
We are looking for someone who has;
Relevant SENCo qualification (Level 3 or above)
Experience supporting children with SEND in an early years setting
Strong communication and organisational skills
A caring, patient, and proactive approach
The role will involve;
Lead and coordinate SEND provision across the nursery
Identify children with additional needs and develop appropriate support strategies
Create and review Individual Education Plans (IEPs) or support plans
Work collaboratively with parents, carers, and external agencies
Support and guide staff in inclusive practice
Ensure compliance with SEND Code of Practice and relevant policies
