We are expanding our Agile delivery Research Team and seeking enthusiastic and motivatedClinical Research Practitioner’s and Clinical research Nurse’sto actively engage and support our research portfolio in both NHS Hospital, the community and Wider Care settings (for example: care homes; charities; faith-based groups; prisons; schools), working as part of a wider agile team across the North London Research Delivery Network geography as well as independently.
The post-holder’s will liaise, establish and maintain positive links with organisations in the community, providing training to local staff as well as recruiting service users and the public to research studies. In addition, the post-holder will work with colleagues in North London RRDN Delivery Organisations in hospital, primary care and wider care settings to recruit participants into NIHR portfolio adopted studies.
An opportunity to join the North London Agile Delivery Team to bring research opportunities to our diverse population in all settings. The team offers individuals the exposure to a variety of studies, health specialities, skills and recruitment strategies.
The focus for this role is to lead the delivery of National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR) Research Delivery Network (RDN) Portfolio studies across varied health and care settings. This will require flexible working across disciplines and the Regional RDN (RRDN) region and will involve the correct identification, recruitment, delivery and follow up for research participants according to the appropriate research protocols. The post holder will be a NMC Registered Nurse, Midwife or a HCPC Registered Allied Health Professional. They will need interpersonal and leadership skills to facilitate collaborative working relationships across a breadth of stakeholders. This post may contribute to line management for and leadership of a team of research delivery staff working autonomously in a variety of specialties and settings.
The role will work alongside different professions from multiple organisations involved in health and care research and will be an integral part of the Agile Research Delivery Team which sits within the RRDN core team. The post holder will be accountable to the Agile Research Delivery
