Shifts: 24hr (10am-10am), 15hr (7:30am-10:30pm) & 9hr waking nights (10:30pm-07:30am)
Contracts: Full Time, Bank
If you want a role where everyday matters and no two days are the same, you’re in the right place.
We’re looking for people who genuinely care - the kind who show up, step up and make a difference to young people who need stability, support and someone in their corner.
The role:
• Helping young people feel safe, supported and heard
• Building real relationships (the kind that actually make a difference)
• Being a positive role model - consistent, fair and encouraging
• Supporting daily life: meals, routines, activities, keeping the home running
• Encouraging independence, confidence and better choices
• Handling tough moments calmly and confidently
• Working as part of a solid team that’s got your back
• Multi agency working – social workers, CAMHS, LAC nurses
You’ll fit right in if you are:
• Calm under pressure
• Resilient - you bounce back and keep going
• Straight-talking but kind
• Non-judgemental and genuinely caring
• A team player who pulls their weight
The essentials/desirables:
• Level 3 in Children’s Residential Care (or willing to work towards it)
• Willing to complete an enhanced DBS
• A full UK Driving Licence (desirable)
Extra credit if you’ve got:
• Experience working with young people or residential care experience
• Knowledge of the sector
What you get back:
• Free Blue Light Card
• NHS cash plan top-up
• Life assurance (3x salary)
• Casual dress - no need for formal wear
• Paid day off for your birthday
• Career progression with our “Roots to Growth” scheme
• A job where you’ll actually see the difference you make
Full job description sent over at screening stage.
