DIGITAL INNOVATION FACILITY

OPERATIONS ADMINISTRATOR – GRADE 5

£29,588 - £33,951 pa

Digital research at the University of Liverpool is transforming lives, industries and society through ground-breaking research solutions and innovation. Our mission is to drive the translation and industrial adoption of emerging digital technologies to empower companies to innovate and deliver sustainable economic growth and technical development.

The Digital Innovation Facility brings together a unique multi-disciplinary team of engineers, scientists and technologists; all located within a new state-of-the-art facility and supported by a skilled team of dedicated staff.

You will play a vital role in delivering a high-quality administration support to meet the operational goals of this flagship facility. Working at the heart of a vibrant and diverse academic environment, you will provide a responsive, inclusive, and customer-focused service that reflects the University’s commitment to excellence and continuous improvement. Your responsibilities will be varied and administrative in nature, with tasks involving coordination, communication, governance and compliance, and reporting. Drawing on your strong organisational skills and attention to detail, you will manage complex diaries, queries, coordinate operational priorities, and support project work.

Due to the nature of the facility this is an on campus based role (hybrid working is not available).

We are looking for someone with excellent interpersonal skills who is confident working with stakeholders across all levels of the organisation and can balance multiple priorities across a wide range of activities. You will take pride in maintaining professional integrity and have a positive attitude to proactively resolving day to day client issues.

Our commitment to Equality, Diversity and Inclusion
We are committed to enhancing a workforce as diverse as our community and particularly encourage applicants who are of minoritised genders and ethnic backgrounds, living with a disability, and/or are members of the LGBTQIA+ community.
