Are you an experienced and passionate Carpenter, eager to inspire and support the next generation of construction professionals? We are seeking a dedicated Lecturer in Carpentry and Joinery to join our team within the School of Built Environment, playing a vital role in delivering a high-quality learning experience for our students.
As a Level 3 qualified Carpenter with hands-on industry experience, you will bring your technical expertise and professional knowledge to our dynamic teaching environment. Your strong communication and mentoring skills will enable you to support both staff and students during practical demonstrations, workshops, and classroom activities.You will have a natural ability to pass on your skills and experiences, nurturing learners as they develop their own capabilities in carpentry techniques such as measuring, cutting, assembling and installing timber structures.
