Clerical Officer Role - Omagh (BT79 0AW)
Pay: £13.21 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, office hours, usually 9:00am - 5:00pm (36 hours per week) however some flexibility may be required
Contract: temporary assignment until November 2026 (may be a potential for extension)
Working Pattern: Fully onsite
We're currently recruiting for a temporary administrative role with the Education Authority (EA), based in Omagh. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain valuable experience within a public sector organisation.
The Role
This position involves providing administrative support across day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Processing incoming post, recording documents and information received accurately and efficiently
- Create and maintain student files, both digital & physical
- Provide general administration support to the Assessors Team, including updating spreadsheets, photocopying and compiling filing lists
- Customer service (Telephone/directly customer facing with visitors onsite. This may involve photocopying student documents in real time
- Communicate and respond to queries effectively through emails, phone calls and letters in a timely manner
