Job description
Healthcare Assistant
Location: Chester, CH1
Pay Rate: £15.00 - £17.00
Shifts: : Full Time & Part Time | Days: 8am – 8pm | Nights: 8pm – 8am
About us
At Apollo Home Healthcare, we provide high-quality, person-centred care to people in the comfort of their own homes. Every individual we support has unique needs – we tailor every care package to them, building a compassionate and skilled team around their requirements.
We live and work by the 6 Cs: Care, Compassion, Competence, Communication, Courage, and Commitment – and we’re looking for people who share those values.
Meet Our Client
We are expanding our services across Chester and the surrounding areas and are looking for compassionate, dedicated Support Workers to join our growing team.
In this rewarding role, you will provide high-quality, person-centred care to a gentleman in his mid-40s with clinical needs, supporting him both in his own home and within the community.
You will assist with personal care and clinical interventions, always promoting dignity, independence, and overall wellbeing.
A key part of the role is supporting meaningful everyday experiences whether that’s spending time with family, attending community activities, or engaging in hobbies and interests he enjoys.
This is a fantastic opportunity to make a genuine difference in someone’s life while becoming part of a healthcare service committed to delivering exceptional, compassionate care.
Please note: Due to the nature of our vacancies, our clients have the right to request either female or male staff.
Our client has specifically requested female care staff to join their team.
“This isn't just a job – it’s your opportunity to make a real difference in someone’s life.”
What You’ll Need
3 months’ care experience
Confident with medication, personal care, moving and handling
Clear communication skills
What We Offer
Competitive hourly pay with enhancements for nights and weekends
Regular confirmed rotas and flexible scheduling
Reward & recognition programme
Supportive management and 24/7 on-call support
Opportunity to grow within a values-led, national care provider
Our funded training, including clinical skills, comes at no cost to you, though attendance is unpaid.
