Vacancy: Manufacturing Production Operative
A vacancy has arisen for a Manufacturing Production Operative with an established manufacturer of construction products based in Wirral.
The successful candidate will be reliable, enthusiastic, and willing to learn. They must be able to communicate effectively and possess good numeracy and literacy skills. The role requires the ability to work both as part of a team and on one’s own initiative.
Main Duties:
• Following batch production instructions to manufacture a range of products
• Accurate weighing of raw materials
• Completing and maintaining production paperwork
• Operating mixing and decanting equipment
• Labelling products
• Palletising and wrapping pallets for stock or dispatch
Additional Responsibilities:
• Loading and unloading pallets
• Checking incoming raw materials
• Dispatch of finished goods
• General housekeeping duties
• Undertaking other tasks as required
Experience operating forklift trucks is required and must have a driving license.
Hours of Work:
• 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
• Working hours: 8:00am – 5:00pm
• 1-hour unpaid lunch break
• Two 15-minute paid breaks per day
Holiday Entitlement:
• 20 days annual leave
• Plus 8 bank holidays
Overtime may be available.
Pay rate: negotiable, depending on experience
