What does this Care Assistant job involve?
Hours of Work:0 Hour Contract - Full and Part Time Hours Available: 07:00 - 14:00 / 15:00 - 22:00
In this role at Bluebird Care Chiltern and Dacorum, no two days are the same, but each visit focuses on supporting customers to live safely and independently at home. Daily duties include:
• Providing personal care such as washing, dressing and assisting with medication, as well as helping with meals and light household tasks.
• You’ll also offer companionship - spending time, listening, and building meaningful relationships.
• Following individual care plans is essential, ensuring each customer receives tailored support while maintaining dignity and respect.
• You’ll monitor wellbeing, report any concerns, and follow safeguarding procedures to keep customers safe.
• Clear communication with colleagues, families, and healthcare professionals is an important part of the role.
