Crynodeb
Clinical Responsibilities: Perform tests and assays on all samples as necessary, according to established protocols and required standards, using intermediate theoretical knowledge, and organising own work. Ensure that documentation is maintained to the Trust standard (including electronic records). Prioritise samples for processing and results for issuing. Maintain good housekeeping and be able to carry out basic analyser trouble shooting. Validate and release clinical results Follow all protocols regarding the escalation of abnormal results. Liaise with NHSBT as required Perform equipment maintenance (subject to competency) Participate in audits. Accurately maintain records e.g. quality audit reports and performance reports.
