The customer operations team is responsible for creating that experience making memories that last a lifetime and ensuring that everyone is welcome.



About the Role and Responsibilities:

The role of a bartender is at the core of the Customer Operations Team; you will be a vital part in creating magic for our customers and making wonderful memories trough friendly and proactive service
You will be the face of Cabaret, with expert knowledge of, our product range, what is happening across the centre and embody our values through your high standards of service.
As a core member of the team, you will support the Cabaret Duty Manager by acting as a role model for other casual staff, proving guidance on standard operational procedures.
Be trained to the appropriate level in food safety, and ensure compliance with food safety requirements in all areas of your work.
Ensure that all tables and chairs are placed correctly ahead of shows and that the venue is ready and presentable for when the public arrive.
Understand and follow the cabaret house rules and ensure that our audiences are also following the cabaret house rules.
Ensure that the bar area and is ready to open prior to the public arrival and cleaned appropriately at the end of every shift, reporting any issues to the cabaret duty manager.
You will be expected at times to be able to work efficiently and confidently by yourself.
You will be experienced at dealing with customer issues and be competent at resolving matters quickly to the customer’s satisfaction.
You will have good knowledge of best practices in hospitality industry and food safety regulations.
You will be competent in using EPOS systems.
You will be able to assist the management team in operational tasks when needed.
You will report any issues that occur to the Cabaret Duty Manger in a timely manner.
Outside of cabaret seasons you will have the flexibility to be able to work across our theatre bars and our ffwrnais bar as well as teras during the summer.
Your role may be subject to a DBS check

This is an evening based role, you will ordinarily work 7 hour shifts, on Thursdays Fridays Saturdays or Sundays. The rota will be created usually a month in advance


Key Requirements:

Proven ability to always deliver excellent customer service.
Experience of working efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced service environment.
Competent and experience in cash handling.
Good experience in using EPOS systems.
Basic knowledge of food safety standards.
