Overview
A school in Norwich is seeking an SEN Teaching Assistant for an immediate start. This is an ongoing role supporting pupils with additional learning needs, including ASD, ADHD, and other complex needs, within a structured and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEN
Assist the class teacher in delivering tailored learning activities
Implement individual education plans (IEPs) and behaviour strategies
Support pupils’ emotional, social, and academic development
Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment
Work closely with teaching staff and SENCO
Candidate Requirements
Experience working with SEN pupils (essential)
Understanding of ASD, ADHD, or similar needs
Calm, patient, and consistent approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Relevant TA qualification or care-based experience (desirable)
