Action Staffing LTD is seeking a dedicated and experienced Early Years Team Lead for an upcoming creative holiday camp program. This is a high-energy leadership role designed for an Early Years Educator who excels in active, play-based environments.
You will be responsible for leading a specific age group (3–5 years), ensuring the highest standards of childcare, safeguarding, and EYFS engagement are met throughout the duration of the camp.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership: Supervise Activity Leaders and assistants, acting as the primary lead for your assigned group.
Operational Excellence: Manage daily registers and secure sign-in/sign-out procedures with precision.
EYFS Delivery: Deliver fun, creative, and play-based sessions that support early development and child confidence.
Parent Partnership: Conduct professional daily handovers, providing feedback on child engagement and wellbeing.
Health & Safety: Maintain a safe, welcoming environment, ensuring all Ofsted and Safeguarding regulations are strictly followed.
Requirements
Qualification: Full and relevant Level 3 Childcare/Early Years qualification (Essential).
Experience: Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in a Nursery, Pre-school, or Early Years setting.
Certifications: Valid Paediatric First Aid and Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain).
Skills: Strong communication, organizational leadership, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Shift Pattern (Temporary)
Dates: 30th March – 2nd April
Duration: 4-Day Block
Daily Hours: 8 hours daily
