Job Description
Are you a dedicated Early Years Practitioner looking for a flexible part-time role in East Ham? We are seeking a passionate and reliable individual to join our professional team. This role is perfect for someone looking to balance their career with other commitments while delivering high-quality care and education to young children.
Main Responsibilities
Early Years Support: Assist in delivering a high standard of care and education in line with the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) framework.
Child Engagement: Facilitate creative and stimulating play-based learning activities.
Health & Safety: Ensure a safe, clean, and secure environment for all children at all times.
Teamwork: Work collaboratively with the staff team to maintain Ofsted standards and nursery policies.
Observation: Assist with light observations and tracking children's progress during the mid-day session.
Requirements
Qualifications: Minimum Level 2 or Level 3 Qualification in Childcare / Early Years (Essential).
Experience: Previous experience working within a nursery or early years setting.
Knowledge: A solid understanding of Safeguarding procedures and child development.
Skills: Strong communication skills, a "can-do" attitude, and a genuine passion for childcare.
Compliance: Must have (or be willing to undergo) an Enhanced DBS check.
