Key Responsibilities Assist with first-stage bank reconciliations, highlighting discrepancies for review. Support petty cash management, including recording and transferring data into QuickBooks. Provide administrative support for PCSE (Primary Care Support England) reconciliation, including data entry and basic checks. Assist with supplier payment runs, preparing payment lists and ensuring invoices are logged correctly. Raise invoices for all private income through QuickBooks, ensuring accuracy, appropriate coding, and timely processing. Assist with input of financial data into accounting systems, particularly QuickBooks (experience preferred). Assist with first-stage payroll administration, including data collation, checking payroll reports, and supporting processing activities. Support administration of NHS Pensions, including maintaining accurate records, processing pension contributions, and assisting with related queries. Maintain accurate electronic filing systems, ensuring financial records are securely stored, well-organised, and easily retrievable in line with NHS data governance requirements. Request and manage remittance advice for unidentified payments, liaising with payers to obtain supporting documentation and ensuring correct allocation of funds. Assist with financial forecasting activities, including data gathering, updating spreadsheets, and supporting budget monitoring. Respond to finance queries from suppliers and internal staff, escalating where necessary. Support the finance team during month end and year end processes.
