Salary range £27,702 to £41,892 per annum*
35 hours per week (up to 23 teaching hours and 12 preparation and other duties), 52 weeks per year
*starting salary subject to college salary assessment process
Do you possess excellent communication skills with industry experience in the field of Catering and Hospitality, with a Level 3 qualification? Do you have the ability to encourage and inspire young people? If so, you could pass on your expertise through teaching.
You will have industry knowledge and expertise in the field of food preparation, cooking, presentation and front of house. You will be required to focus on delivering a range of units around Study programmes for Hospitality and Catering. You will be required to participate in high profile events linked to the college and to work as an effective team member.
You should also have a good standard of education including Level 2 maths and English, and a relevant Level 3 qualification. You should also have a teaching qualification or a commitment to achieving one within a specified time period.
This post is based at Suffolk New College, Ipswich Campus, however Suffolk New College is a multi campus site therefore you may be required to work at and travel between campuses.
