Contract Type: Full-Time (Ongoing until end of academic year)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm
Pay Rate: £102 - £115 per day (depending on experience)

About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and resilient Graduate Teaching Assistant to join an alternative provision in Moston. This is a full-time role starting immediately and continuing until the end of the academic year.

This position is particularly suited to graduates with a background in Psychology or experience supporting students with special educational needs (SEN). You will work with young people who may face social, emotional, and behavioural challenges, helping them to re-engage with education and achieve positive outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with SEN and SEMH needs
- Assist in delivering tailored learning activities and interventions
- Support students' emotional regulation and behaviour management
- Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils
- Work collaboratively with teaching staff and support teams

Requirements
- A degree in Psychology or a related field (desirable)
- Experience working with SEN, SEMH, or challenging behaviour
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A calm, patient, and proactive approach
- Ability to remain resilient in a dynamic environment
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
