Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced and motivatedApprenticeship Clinical and Quality Officer (Band 7)to provide maternity cover within our Corporate Learning and Organisational Development Directorate.

Apprenticeships are a core part of our workforce strategy, supporting career progression, widening participation and long‑term workforce resilience. As anApprenticeship Main Provider, the Trust has achieved strong year‑on‑year growth in apprentice numbers and levy utilisation. This role is central to maintaining and enhancing thequality, compliance and credibilityof our apprenticeship provision.

Working closely with clinical teams, education providers and internal stakeholders, you will ensure apprenticeship programmes meetOfsted, DfE and Apprenticeship Funding Rulesrequirements, while delivering an excellent learner and staff experience. You will play a key role in maximising the use of theGrowth and Skills Levy, supporting career pathways across all staff groups, and strengthening apprenticeship quality and outcomes across the Trust.

• Act as a subject‑matter expert onApprenticeship Standards, providing advice and guidance to apprentices, managers, educators and internal teams.
• Quality assure the delivery of the Level 2 Healthcare Support Worker Apprenticeshipand other apprenticeship pathways delivered across the Trust.
• Maximise utilisation of the Growth and Skills Levy, working with apprenticeship providers to design and deliver programmes that address workforce development needs at all levels.
• Plan and deliver Careers Clinics(online and face‑to‑face), supporting staff to explore apprenticeship opportunities and career progression pathways.
• Develop and support career pathways, including apprenticeship routes into advanced and specialist roles, working collaboratively with clinical and operational leaders.
• Lead apprenticeship recognition and celebration activities, including National Apprenticeship Week and annual awards events.
• Maintain strong working relationships with HEIs, independent training providers, End Point Assessment Organisations and internal stakeholders, ensuring effective governance and learner support.
• Line manage the Apprenticeship Compliance Officer, providing leadership, oversight and development support.
• Maintain accurate learner data and programme records using systems such as Aptem, supporting audit, reporting and quality improvement.
