Crynodeb
We are looking to hire a Porter to work specifically on Food Tank duties across a split shift pattern of 26.15 hours per week over 5 days within the Portering Service at Salford Royal Hospital. Overtime may be offered but this would be subject to staff cover being required through the week.
Food tanks are delivered each day of the week between the hours of 11:30-14:30 and 16:30-19:15, therefore the hours between 14:30 and 16:30 would be non paid hours.
You will also be required to be flexible in your working pattern as you may be required to work days, evenings, weekends, nights and bank holidays.
At times you may be required to carry out other portering duties, which may include assisting with the transfer of patients around the site by wheelchair, trolley or bed, including deceased patients and all associated mortuary duties. Not excluding, being possibly placed on waste duties with the waste team. Please see job description for full details.
You may also be required to transfer medical notes and medical supplies around the hospital site to various wards and departments.
