About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and detail-focused Electronics Repair & Test Technician (also searched as PCB Technician, Electronics Technician, Repair Technician, Test Engineer, Electrical Technician) to join a growing technical team in Newark.
This is a great opportunity for someone with basic electronics or technical repair experience who wants to build a long-term career in the industry. You will be involved in fault finding, PCB repair, electronic testing, and quality inspection within a supportive environment where full training is provided.
Key Responsibilities
• Diagnose faults on electronic equipment (fault finding / troubleshooting electronics)
• Carry out PCB repair and component-level repairs (PCB soldering / electronics repair)
• Perform testing and quality control checks (QA / inspection / test technician duties)
• Record and document test results accurately
• Work alongside production and engineering teams
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workspace
What We’re Looking For
• Basic understanding of electronics, fault diagnosis, or repair work
• Interest in PCB repair, soldering, or electronic testing
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Good teamwork and communication abilities
• Willingness to learn and develop into a skilled technician
Training & Development
• Full training provided for candidates with transferable technical skills
• Opportunity to progress into roles such as Senior Technician, Test Engineer, or Electronics Engineer
