We are looking for a reliable and responsible Warehouse Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe and timely transportation of goods, supporting warehouse operations, and ensuring accurate deliveries and pickups.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely operate company vehicles to transport goods to and from designated locations
Load and unload items, ensuring proper handling and storage
Verify delivery details, invoices, and documentation before dispatch and upon receipt
Assist in warehouse duties such as packing, labeling, and inventory handling
Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of the vehicle
Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies
Report any vehicle issues, delays, or incidents to the supervisor
Ensure timely delivery schedules are met
Requirements:
Valid driving license (appropriate for commercial vehicles)
Proven experience as a driver, preferably in a warehouse or logistics environment
Good knowledge of local routes and traffic regulations
Ability to lift and move heavy items when required
Basic understanding of warehouse operations is a plus
Strong time management and organizational skills
Good communication and reliability
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in delivery or logistics companies
Familiarity with inventory systems or handheld devices
Defensive driving certification (optional)
