PART-TIME PRACTICE NURSE
We are a three partner one salaried GP, high achieving practice committed to delivering excellent care to just under 4000 patients.
We are looking to recruit a part time Practice Nurse.
DUTIES TO INCLUDE
GENERAL PRACTICE NURSING CARE
Wound dressings
Blood pressure monitoring
Performing ECG
Vaccinations (flu/travel/baby)
Baby Clinic (Thursdays 13:30-15:30)
Foreign Travel Advice
Chronic Disease Management
Health Promotion
Taking cervical smears preferred but not essential
IT skills
Nursing Hours
16 hours a week
Thursday 08:30 – 12:30 and 13:30 – 17:30 (includes baby clinic every other Thursday)
Friday 08:30 – 12:30 and 13:30 – 17:30
Additional hours would be available to cover annual leave and sickness absence
Annual Leave
20 days annual leave plus bank holidays
Probationary period
Six months
We are seeking a qualified Nurse who is enthusiastic, approachable, compassionate, organised and confident
Providing general nursing support to the GP's and Nurses at the Practice. Experience of Chronic management would be desirable.
