Crynodeb
We are seeking a dynamic and forward‑thinking Head of Nursing to provide senior clinical leadership across Emergency Medicine and Rehabilitation Services. This is a key role supporting and developing our nursing teams within a busy and complex clinical environment, driving high standards of patient care, professional practice, and governance. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary colleagues to shape future services, strengthen nursing leadership, and support the continued growth and development of our workforce.
• Provide professional, clinical, and strategic nursing leadership across Emergency Medicine and Rehabilitation Services.
• Ensure high standards of nursing practice, patient safety, and quality of care through effective governance, assurance, and oversight.
• Support, develop, and inspire nursing teams, including specialist nurses, through visible leadership, supervision, and workforce development.
• Lead on nursing workforce planning, recruitment, retention, and succession planning across the division.
• Work collaboratively with medical, operational, and multidisciplinary colleagues to support service improvement and transformation.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, professional, and organisational standards, including preparation for external inspection and assurance processes.
• Promote a positive culture of learning, improvement, and staff wellbeing.
