CNC Miller Programmer (Days)
Dudley
£16-£18 per hour
Monday to Thursday 8:00am - 4:30pm / Friday 8:00am - 3:30pm
The Role
We're recruiting for an experienced CNC Miller Programmer to join a well-established manufacturing site in Dudley.
This is a hands-on role where you'll be responsible for:
* Programming, Setting, and Operating CNC machines
* Milling and Boring components
* Working with Heidenhain controls (essential)
Key Responsibilities
* Program, set, and operate CNC milling machines
* Carry out medium to large-scale milling and boring work
* Read and interpret detailed engineering drawings
* Work to tight tolerances and machining standards
* Inspect and check your own work using measuring equipment
Skills & Experience
* Proven experience in CNC Milling (Programming/Setting/Operating)
* Strong background in medium to large milling & boring
* Experience with Heidenhain controls (preferred)
* Fanuc knowledge beneficial
* Confident reading engineering drawings, including:
o Machining symbols
o Tolerances
o Geometric tolerances
* Experience using measuring equipment:
o Micrometers
o Slip gauges
