What You’ll Be Doing
No two days are the same, but the tasks below offer a glimpse of what to expect. If you don’t meet every point but believe you have the skills to succeed, we encourage you to apply.
Time management to arrive promptly at assigned sites and begin work in line with the daily schedule and operational priorities.
Carry out all bulk waste removal tasks safely and efficiently, following company procedures and site‑specific requirements.
Ensure all waste materials are collected, sorted where required, and removed from site in a compliant and environmentally responsible manner.
Leave each work area clean, tidy, and hazard‑free before departing the site.
Respond to ad‑hoc requests or urgent issues that arise during the working day, adjusting priorities where necessary.
Transport collected waste to the designated recycling or disposal facility, ensuring all materials are handled and disposed of appropriately.
Follow all legal and company requirements relating to waste transfer, recycling, and environmental compliance including documentation
Complete and submit accurate site reports after each visit, including details of work completed, issues identified, and materials disposed of
Maintain regular communication with the Team Leader to stay updated on daily changes, operational challenges, reporting any maintenance need and site priorities.
Carry out weekly vehicle inspections, ensuring the vehicle is safe, roadworthy, and compliant with company standards.
Work independently or as part of a team depending on the needs of the job, maintaining a professional and cooperative approach at all times.
Contribute to a positive team environment by sharing information, supporting colleagues, and upholding company values.
What You Need to Succeed
Fluent level of English; able to communicate effectively with customers, team members and other contractors professionally, as appropriate
Holds a full, valid driving license
Experience of working in a similar role is essential (lone working experience is advantageous)
