Full time starting salary is normally in the range of £37,897 to £45,580 per annum, with potential progression to £52,067 per annum

About the Role
The International Development Manager will be responsible for overseeing both setting and shaping international marketing and recruitment strategy to attract international students in the designated regions and provides strategic leadership in the shaping of the Cranfield University international strategy, to grow the number of international students, direction of the agent network, identification of partnerships and carrying out of the relevant due diligence processes in the designated regions.
The post holder is responsible for overseeing representing the University and will play a major role in protecting and growing the international activities for the University. This role will focus on our UK, Australian and New Zealand markets, and we may involve you in other areas.
As a key member of the International Team the post holder will have significant oversight of international marketing, recruitment and partnership functions. The post holder will possess excellent communication, negotiation, organisational skills and initiative to ensure strategic alignment that the most efficient and effective systems are in place to support achieving the international strategy.
About You
The University aims to be renowned for its impact and influence - regionally, nationally and internationally. You will have plenty of experience in international student recruitment and will know how to attract and engage high quality international students from a range of markets. You will represent the University internationally, contribute to the University’s innovative and effective internationalisation strategy, raising its international brand and profile and be a key member of the team responsible for the achievement of the University’s targets for international student recruitment. You will also be able to demonstrate success in developing and managing effective international networks and external relationships as well as being a skilled diplomat with deep cultural awareness.
Educated to degree level or equivalent, you will have excellent communication and networking skills being comfortable identifying, researching and building relationships across a range of stakeholders including students, local representatives, Government organisations, partners, alumni and sponsorship bodies. You will be experienced in higher education international student recruitment and you should be used to working to meet tight deadlines in a pressurised customer focussed environment.
