The Job:
A skilled Agricultural Fabricator is required to perform servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a diverse range of agricultural machinery. This role involves:
- Conducting regular servicing and repairs on agricultural equipment
- Utilising welding techniques to repair and fabricate component
- Carrying out custom fabrication as necessary using a plasma cutter
- Providing relief tractor operations during busy periods, particularly during harvest
The Company:
A long established, family run arable farm based near Abingdon. The farm is well equipped, running a fleet of modern machinery, all of which are maintained to an exceptionally high standard. The business prides itself on sustainable agricultural practices and investment in the latest technology to support efficient farming operations.
The Candidate:
- Strong background in agricultural machinery maintenance and service
- Proficiency in welding and metal fabrication
- Experience operating a variety of modern agricultural machinery
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Problem-solving skills and attention to detail
The Package:
- £35,000 - £40,000 salary, depending on experience
- Full-time, permanent role
