We are a popular, Church of England (VC) primary school with over four hundred pupils on role. We are located in a residential area in the market town of Belper, seven miles north of Derby, in the picturesque world heritage site of the Derwent Valley.

Due to the successful promotion of the incumbent Deputy Headteacher to the role of Headteacher (with effect from 1st September) we are looking to recruit anexceptional Deputy Headteacher to join a dedicated, forward‑thinking leadership team. This is an exciting opportunity for an inspirational leader passionate about helping every child flourish academically, socially and spiritually. Rooted in Christian values, we are a vibrant, caring school committed to nurturing the whole child and maintaining high standards. The successful candidate will be an outstanding classroom practitioner, an advocate for safeguarding, and a leader who inspires and supports colleagues. You will contribute strategically to whole‑school improvement while modelling our inclusive ethos and Christian vision.
