What skills and experience we're looking for

EYFS Phase Lead | Who We're Looking For

• A qualified EYFS Teacher with UK QTS and a track record of delivering high-quality early years education.
• Be a proven strong EYFS teacher who has a clear understanding of high-quality teaching, learning and curriculum.
• Previous leadership experience or the ambition to take on a leadership role.
• A strong understanding of the EYFS framework and child development.
• A proactive and inspiring leader who can support and develop the EYFS team.
• A commitment to creating a nurturing, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
• A commitment to developing an engaging and exciting curriculum based on practical and first-hand learning experiences set within a very strong learning environment.

At Betty Layward, we are extremely lucky to work with a wonderful community, with brilliant children, with talented staff and with supportive parents and carers.

We are a thriving popular two form primary school with a nursery.

We currently have 447 children on role, representing diverse cultural backgrounds and heritages. Our children speak more than 30 different languages and our families originate from more than 30 different countries. Our community is our greatest asset.

Betty Layward Primary School is a dynamic school, full of creativity, where children are fully immersed in their learning. The children are kind, thoughtful and demonstrate excellent behaviour. They enjoy responsibility and form lovely relationships with each other.
