Please note, due toanticipatedhigh volumes of applications, this vacancy may close earlier than the listed closing date.You areadvised not todelaysubmittingyour completed application The Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery are advertising a one year full time clinical fellowship post to attain advances specialist skills across a spectrum of neurological services. Candidates will have to opportunity to learn from observation and encouraged to develop autonomous clinical assessment and decision-making skills over the course of the fellowship. Multi-disciplinary engagement with specialist nursing, OT, physiotherapy, speech and language therapy neuropsychology, neuro-ophthalmology, neuroradiology, neurophysiology, laboratory based neuroimmunology and neurointensive care is integrated into daily practice. The candidate will also have the opportunity to work closely with the plasma exchange team, neuro-pharmacists and take part in the weekly encephalitis MDT Education and Training This position meets all essential and desirable criteria set out in the BPNS/ BMS accredited neuromuscular fellowship document (attached) by way of the basic weekly timetable (below). Weekly undifferentiated peripheral nerve and muscle clinic sessions can be supplemented or replaced by a range of sub-speciality clinics (mitochondrial, channelopathy, myasthenia, MND, Kennedys, inflammatory neuropathy, haem-onc neuropathy, check-point inhibitor neurotoxicity, McArdles, CMT management, rare genetic neuropathy) or clinical experience in related subspecialties according to self-directed learning goals. Qualifications All candidates should have full registration with the GMC. MRCP or equivalent is essential.
