Perfect Household Staff is delighted to present an excellent opportunity for a professional and experienced housekeeper cook to join a welcoming family based in the charming town of Stratford-upon-Avon. Renowned as the birthplace of William Shakespeare, this historic and picturesque location offers a unique blend of cultural heritage, scenic riverside walks, and a peaceful residential atmosphere. The principals are a warm and dynamic family with three teenage children, seeking a friendly with teenagers and dog lover professional who can contribute positively to their household.
The role involves working in a well-maintained five-bedroom, two-floor home, where a pro-active and personable approach will be highly valued.
Working as a housekeeper cook within a private household requires excellent organisational skills, flexibility, and the ability to manage a variety of responsibilities with efficiency and care. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of the home, managing laundry and ironing, and preparing a variety of meals tailored to the family’s preferences. In addition, the role includes walking two small dogs and ensuring their wellbeing. This position is well suited to a candidate who is adaptable, enjoys working in a family environment, and takes pride in delivering high standards across both housekeeping and cooking duties.
Working Days: Three days a week, any three working days on agreement with the housekeeper
Working Hours: 24 hours per week, from 10:00 to 18:00

Salary: £25 to £30 gross per hour
Location: Five-bedroom, two-floor house in Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwickshire, UK
Starting Date: Beginning of June
Main duties of the Part-Time Housekeeper Cook:
Maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of the five-bedroom, two-floor property to a high standard, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising all areas.
Managing laundry and ironing, ensuring garments and household linens are cared for, organised, and presented impeccably.
Organising wardrobes, cupboards, and general storage areas to maintain a tidy and efficient household environment.
Preparing a variety of meals for the family, adapting to preferences and ensuring balanced, well-presented dishes.
Planning menus and managing kitchen organisation to support smooth daily meal preparation.
Walking two small dogs daily and ensuring their general wellbeing, including feeding and routine care as required.
Monitoring and replenishing household and kitchen supplies, ensuring the home remains well-stocked.
Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the household through a pro-active and organised approach.
Maintaining a friendly and respectful manner, being approachable and comfortable interacting with teenagers.
Requirements for this Part-Time Housekeeper Cook job:
Three or more years of private housekeeper cook experience.
Two excellent checkable references.
Conversational English.
UK working permit.
