What You'll Do: Comprehensive plumbing maintenance and repair expertise, including installation, reactive repairs, and planned preventative maintenance of water systems, pipework, sanitary fixtures, and associated equipment Experience with complex mechanical services, such as hot and cold water systems, heating systems, pumps, compressors, and calorifiers, ensuring compliance with safety and water quality standards Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications, and carry out installation, commissioning, and testing of plumbing and mechanical systems accurately Knowledge of health and safety regulations, including safe systems of work, permits, and hazard management when working in live healthcare environments Participation in emergency response and out of hours oncall duties, providing rapid and effective repairs in urgent and potentially hazardous situations Proficiency in fault diagnosis and repairs on complex plant and equipment, including water safety systems, Legionella control, and mechanical plant Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, contractors, and external agencies to ensure efficient and compliant maintenance operations What You Bring: NVQ Level 3 qualification required Experience in NHS and Healthcare Environment. Strong Problem Solving and Communication Skills Ability to identify problems, understand key issues and investigate alternatives.
