Medicine Clinical Board Medicine see and treat over 140,000 people through our emergency pathways into secondary care with a focus on supporting them to get home at the earliest opportunity. We are predominantly known for emergency and acute work but we also deliver a broad range of other services within the Board. Thes include respiratory, gerontology, diabetes, gastroenterology, dermatology, cancer and general medicine operating across the University Hospital of Wales and University Hospital Llandough. We have a dedicated, skilled workforce of Medical, Clinical, Nursing, Therapy, Professional and Administrative staff of approximately 2000 people working in Medicine to deliver care to the population we serve.
