What exactly will you be doing?
As an Assessment Delivery Officer, you will be part of the Assessment Delivery team within CPI, working closely with colleagues across AAT, ICT teams and third‑party software providers. You will support the day‑to‑day delivery of assessments, the marking of assessments and will contribute to the incident resolution and system improvements and help ensure results are processed and released accurately and on time.
You will also act as a key point of escalation for assessment delivery issues, supporting front‑line teams and helping to continuously improve how our assessment systems and processes work.
Major objectives
Your major objectives will include:
Ensure efficient, accurate and compliant delivery of AAT assessments, in line with regulatory and organisational requirements.
Support the day‑to‑day administration of live and practice assessments, including marking, results processing and incident resolution.
Act as a subject‑matter support point for assessment systems and delivery processes, providing advice to internal teams.
Monitor assessment system performance and integrations to ensure a robust and reliable service for learners and providers.
Investigate, manage and escalate assessment delivery issues, identifying trends and contributing to long‑term solutions.
Support the testing, implementation and improvement of assessment systems, processes and new content.
Contribute to projects and initiatives that enhance assessment delivery efficiency, quality and customer experience.
Uphold AAT’s service standards, data protection requirements and charitable purpose in all aspects of the role.
What are we looking for?
Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy when working with systems, data and processes.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work confidently with internal and external stakeholders.
Proven ability to manage time effectively, prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a busy, operational environment.
A customer‑focused mindset, with strong problem‑solving skills and a calm, methodical approach to issue resolution.
Confidence working with IT systems and databases, ideally within an online or computer‑based assessment environment.
Experience using Microsoft applications to support reporting and administrative processes.
Commitment to confidentiality, quality and continuous improvement, with an interest in how technology supports assessment delivery.
What are the benefits?
At AAT we believe in treating our staff well and this is reflected in our wide-ranging benefits, which include:
Hybrid working (1-2 days per week in our London office) and opportunities for further flexible working.
25 days’ annual leave, increasing one day per year up to a maximum of 30 days plus bank holidays.
