HGV Class 1 (C+E) Driver
We are currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers to join a well-established operation with XPO Logistics. We have Monday to Friday shifts AM and PM. Routes are National trunk runs with no handball. Day shifts pay £15.94 per hour rising to £16.59 per hour after 12 weeks and start at 05.00. Night shifts start from 19.00 and pay £17.01 per hour rising to £17.70 per hour after 12 weeks. You will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting full loads from the distribution depot.
Some paperwork may be required but this minimal. All candidates are required to pass a driver assessment and complete 3 induction days prior to running solo.

Job Description:
- A full UK driving licence with category CE entitlement
- Min age: 21
- Minimum experience required is 1 year
- No more than 6 current penalty points
- No DR, DG, DD, BA, CD, AC, LC, IN10 or TT99 endorsements with a conviction date within the previous 5 years
Driver Responsibilities:
- Check the vehicle regularly and report any issues
- Drive safely and follow all traffic laws
- Deliver goods on time, in full and to the correct address
- Communicate politely with customers
- Keep records of deliveries, mileage, and issues
- Report delays, accidents, or problems to the site manager
