We are currently recruiting for an experienced Flat Block Cleaner to work for our client based in Bournemouth and surrounding areas.
Job Role:
The Flat Block Cleaner is responsible for delivering a high-quality, customer-focused cleaning service across all designated areas within the business unit. The role ensures that buildings and surrounding areas are maintained to a consistently high standard of cleanliness and hygiene, supporting a safe, welcoming, and efficient environment for staff and visitors.
The position contributes to the smooth operation of the facilities by upholding cleanliness standards, supporting customer satisfaction, and promoting the use of the venue.
Key Responsibilities of Flat Block Cleaner:
Carry out a full range of cleaning duties across internal and external areas, including offices, public spaces, toilets, and car parks.
Follow cleaning schedules or management instructions to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
Always maintain cleanliness and hygiene across all areas.
Use cleaning equipment and machinery safely and effectively, ensuring all items are cleaned and left in a serviceable condition after use.
Report any faulty or damaged equipment to supervisors or management promptly.
Comply with all Health and Safety regulations, including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Support safe working practices and report any hazards or risks identified during duties.
Wear the required uniform while on duty and maintain a professional appearance.
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors, including the use of two-way radio systems where required.
Attend training sessions, including health and safety, equipment uses, and emergency procedures.
Working hours of Flat Block Cleaner: 37 hours per week, working any five days out of seven.
Requirements of Flat Block Cleaner:
Previous experience in a similar cleaning role
Understanding of cleaning procedures
Awareness of Health and Safety regulations
Ability to deliver cleaning services to a high standard
Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and proactive
Flexible approach to work and changing cleaning requirements
