Treloar’s is a charity that provides outstanding education, therapy and care to physically disabled young people, and empowers them to live more independent and fulfilling lives.
Dietitian
Full-time hours available
Term time only contract
Salary: £34,365 to £43,336 dependent on experience
Would you like to expand your dietetic experience and expertise, enabling children and young people to access education and achieve the best possible outcomes?
We are looking for an enthusiastic Registered Dietitian to join our busy in-house team of dietitians at our CQC and Ofsted Outstanding school and college. You will be working with students ranging from 5 to 25 years of age, with a wide range of disabilities and feeding needs. The successful candidate will be part of an established MDT, working with nurses, therapists, GPs and care staff, as well as working closely with community and NHS dietitians.
Dietetics work jointly with our in-house catering team to provide a suitable standard menu and a range of special diets. We support a variety of diets including enteral feeding, blended diet and texture and nutrient modification.
Students and their families are at the centre of everything we do, and this role offers the unique opportunity to develop supportive, long-term relationships.
We are looking for an experienced registered dietitian, ideally with a strong background of clinical experience including a relevant area of specialty (home enteral nutrition, paediatrics, neuro-disability, or similar). You will be familiar with managing a demanding caseload, good at prioritising and have excellent communication skills.
We offer:
Term time only
Excellent training and development opportunities
Pension scheme, life insurance and critical illness cover
Occupational health scheme
HSF cash plan and Perkbox discount scheme
Free wellbeing and social activities
Free parking
Closing Date: Sunday 10th May 2026 (midnight)
Interview Date: Monday 18th May 2026
We strongly encourage informal visits, or conversations with our Lead Dietitian. Please make the Recruitment Team aware of your interest.
