Eyemouth Freezers Ltd is a Processor and Packer of frozen Peas / Petits Pois / Broad Beans.
As a Seasonal Quality Control Operative, you will be integral to maintaining food safety and quality standards within our organisation. Grading & testing of product, recording results and interpreting these to ensure the safe production of food.
Duties:
- Quantifying product grading
- Testing product to customer specification
- Monitoring of product temperature / micro levels at correct time intervals
- Ensuring any non conforming product is controlled
- Ensuring all food safety standards are met
Skills & Requirements:
- Food safety and hygiene knowledge (Preferred not necessary)
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Maintain the company traceability system & computer literate
- Maintain equipment and hygiene within the lab work area
- Must be 18 years old
- Must be able to commute to Eyemouth for shift start times.

Job Availability: This is a temporary seasonal job opportunity from June to September 2026.
Job Type: Full Time (32 or 40 Hours)
Shifts Available:
- 4 x Early / Back (40 hours, Working over 5 Days)
- 2 x Early / Back (32 hours, Working over 4 Days)
- 1 x Night (40 hours, Working over 5 Days)
- 1 x Night (32 hours, Working over 4 Days)
More Information:
- Early Shift: 7am to 3pm
- Back Shift: 3pm to 11pm
- Early & Back Shift: Rotation
- Day Shift pay rate £13.45 (Real Living Wage) / Day Shift Overtime Rate £20.17
- Night Shift: 11pm to 7am
- Night Shift: Static
- Night Shift pay rate £14.15 / Night Shift Overtime Rate £21.22
