About the Role
We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established care provider for Support Workers to join a learning disability service in Huntingdon.
As a Support Worker, you will be working as part of a focused team supporting residents with their personal care needs, respecting their dignity and always promoting independence. You will also help ensure high standards of care are maintained and support with day-to-day activities within the home.
The service supports people with learning disabilities and complex needs in a calm and supportive environment.
The Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) model is at the heart of the service. This approach focuses on person-centred care, choice, independence, participation, and inclusion. You will support residents in a proactive way, helping to understand their needs and reduce distress where possible, while encouraging positive outcomes and meaningful daily living.
Reporting to: Nurse / Senior Support Worker

Skills and Attributes
• Caring and patient nature
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Previous care experience is preferred but not essential
• Full UK Driving Licence is preferred but not essential
