Isla Rose is searching for a laser setter/operator to join a well-established sheet metal fabrication business based in Wolverhampton.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a successful growing business on a permanent contract. The role is available for a newly formed night shift due to new contract wins but will begin on days for training. Candidates will need to work independently and be reliable.
We are looking to speak with candidates who are experienced In setting and operating flatbed laser machines and who can help support the team with improving processes and quality. Experience working with Bystronic machines would be an advantage but not essential.
Key Duties
• Setting Bystronic lasers
• Operating laser machines
• Quality control
• Reading engineering drawings
• Supporting shop floor operations
The working week is Monday to Thursday on night shifts. Initially the role will be working Monday to Friday on day shift for training.
Starting pay is dependent on experience but will be around £14 - £15.50 per hour with night shifts paid at a 20% premium.
