Veterinary Surgeon (Small Animal) – 4-Day Week | Sole Charge | £65,000 Salary | Modern Refurbished Clinic

A well-established, community-focused veterinary practice is seeking a confident and compassionate Veterinary Surgeon to join its friendly and close-knit team. Based in a newly refurbished, modern high-street clinic, this role offers an excellent opportunity for a vet who thrives in a sole charge environment while benefiting from strong team support.

Working alongside an experienced Branch Partner and a highly skilled Head Veterinary Nurse, the successful candidate will have the guidance and collaboration needed to deliver outstanding patient care while building lasting relationships with clients.

The Role

• 4-day working week, promoting excellent work-life balance
• Sole charge position with full support from an experienced team
• Weekend rota at a sister 24-hour hospital (approximately 1 in 6 weekends)
• 1–2 bank holiday shifts per year
• Access to advanced diagnostic facilities and a wider clinical network
• Opportunity to provide continuity of care within a loyal client base

This position is ideal for a Veterinary Surgeon looking to develop professionally within a supportive, well-run practice that prioritises high clinical standards and patient care.

Salary & Benefits

Salary: Up to £65,000 (depending on experience)

The ideal candidate will be a qualified MRCVS Veterinary Surgeon with a strong commitment to clinical excellence and client care. They will be confident working in a sole charge capacity while valuing collaboration within a supportive team environment.
